The Snake Talk DVD is a general information talk about the snakes of Southern Africa by Gary and Tracy of SnakeGetters.
Topics discussed include non-venomous snakes, venomous snakes and there is small section on snake bites. The information is in presentation style (presenter talks in front of a group of people) with some close-up film work of the snakes that were on display during the talk. On the DVD ROM a directory is available with the snake bite protocol that the medical profession should use in the event of a snake bite. The protocols are about 9 pages each and cover the puff adder, black mamba and the cape cobra.
The DVD is NOT a guide to all snakes of Southern Africa nor is it an identification guide, though some snakes were discussed in detail.
